Art director, lime & chips lover, and hopeful dancer. I am a creative based in Mexico City, currently working as Art Director at Nu México.
I was raised in Mexico City and went into the Graphic Design path; by that moment, I didn't even know advertising existed. But a part of me always felt something was missing until I crossed paths with creative minds in the advertising industry. I found creativity in advertising, and, of course, I realized it was the thing I wanted to do from now on.
I found a space where I can understand people and culture and create amazing stories with that (who wouldn't fall for that?). Because as Sir John Hegarty says, “Storytelling is still fundamental to our experiences. Despite the incredible explosion of technology, we all still love stories.”
Like many, I found my passion for traveling the first time I went on my own to visit another country, one of my best decisions and something that made me see languages and new cultures as a powerful positive impact for creative expression. Something that now I seek to inject into all my creative work.
By the way, the thing with limes is true; I even have a tattoo to take with me wherever I go. (In some countries, limes are shockingly expensive!)
